Day 5:  Making a Pledge

Discontinued the connecting with nature idea.   Is it impossible to quit caffeine? Decided to make a pledge “out loud” to continue the program!

Video Summary:

Have a bit of a headache, but it is probably more due to a hangover rather than anything to do with caffeine withdrawal.

Discontinued the “going for a walk” idea.

Trying to stop any nervous habits, but hope the ideas of the video are coming across anyway.  The ideas of the videos being:  a way to quit caffeine!

Making a vow and recording it on my smartphone to listen to later:

“I vow to continue the T Minus 30 energy drink withdrawal program and to stay off caffeine for 30 days after the program is over”

Speaking it out loud is probably more important than listening to it later, I think.

90% of adults in U.S. drink caffeine every day.  Is it impossible to quit caffeine?

You hear of people quitting smoking, drinking, drugs but rarely hear of people quitting caffeine.  Either because other vices are more serious, or caffeine is just impossible to quit.

I will probably only post these videos if I get through the program and stay off caffeine for at least another 3 weeks or more.

Still getting more than a cup and a half of coffee a day, so haven’t really done too much yet.
