7:50 am
Almost halfway there and still no withdrawal effects!

Video Summary:

I never got into the whole gourmet coffee craze.

I ended up drinking energy drinks because I thought it gave a superior buzz.

Still feeling good, but if I wasn’t for the fact that I’m doing these videos. I may have broken down by now.

Since caffeine is so freely available, and since I sometimes feel it isn’t hurting me that much, I often just break down, lose all my willpower and fall off the wagon.  Yesterday was such a day.

I’ve cut caffeine almost in half and seem to have a little bit less of a desire to drink in the morning.

One option would be just to continue at half strength for a few weeks if you would like to stable off.

Next few weeks I’ll be below a cup of coffee, things will probably get more real in terms of withdrawal.

Yesterday my sleep seemed to be slightly fitful and my heart is beating fast, not sure what the cause may be, but probably just my body adjusting.

Starbucks dependent on a thriving economy to have extra disposable income to spend on gourmet coffee.

Starbucks stock took a big hit in 2008 with the declining economy.  It has since bounced back.

If the world comes on hard times, people may not be willing to spend so much on their coffee.

I’m not on a crusade to get rid of coffee, just offering a method for people to withdraw from caffeine if they want.

It looks like the FDA may crack down at some point, so it may make sense to wean yourself off just in case.
