More withdrawal symptoms.

Video Summary:

Still suffering withdrawal symptoms:  bad mood, inability to concentrate, residual headache,  stuffy nose.

This is not an effortless method.  Cut about 2/3 of my caffeine intake so far:  66 mg of caffeine still tastes good!  Still equivalent to two Cokes. (Coke has 34 mg, Pepsi has 38 mg)

Gradual reduction method does not eliminate withdrawal, but drinks are helping alleviate symptom somewhat, I think.

Book Report:  “Caffeine Blues”

Both this book and the prior book “Caffeine Advantage” are bugging me!  Maybe just because of my withdrawal symptoms.

Caffeine Blues is blaming almost every conceivable thing on caffeine: liver problems, stress, high blood pressure, heart disease, gout, mental illness, depression, fatigue, panic disorder, allergy, gastric reflux, heartburn, anemia.

I’m not a doctor or a nutritionist so I cannot evaluate claims even though I have a strong scientific background.

Generally, though any poisonous drug consumed over decades is going to cause problems.  So I’m partial to the anti-caffeine side.

This pro- and anti- caffeine debate has been going on nonstop for 400 years.

I’m not quitting so much because of potential long term problems, I have issues in the here and now that make me want to quit.

Misspoke:  not #1 book on Amazon, its the #1 book on Amazon “in the caffeine section.”

Even though this is a very popular book, the caffeine market has exploded since this book was written.
