No noticeable withdrawal effects so far.  Feel like I’m about to lose some weight.

Video Summary:

The drink now has 11 1/2 tsp or 46 grams of sugar.  Drink is still very sweet.  For the next few days I may not be doing videos everyday.  There are a couple reasons:  First,  it’s sort of a busy time around here and I don’t have that much free time, and Second:  this program, as compared to the caffeine withdrawal program, seems to be going a lot smoother and easier, so there doesn’t seem to be quite as much to report from a physical withdrawal standpoint.

Yesterday I only drank about half the bottle and at the end of the day was going to pitch it, but decided to drink it just to stay within the parameters of the program.  Last night I had my first sugar craving:  I was craving coffee ice cream for some reason, but the cravings are nowhere as bad as they were with my caffeine withdrawal program. So everything is going very well so far.

I’m coming close to the American Heart Associations recommended 9 tsp of sugar a day, but I’m still getting more sugar than is recommended.  So I’m thinking that once I hit the 9 tsp level I may get more sugar cravings.

Also, in terms of weight loss (which is why I think most people might want to undergo this program), I think I’ve lost a couple of pounds, but I have a sense I’m going to start losing more weight pretty soon.  I’m not too worried about it ,and anyway I definitely don’t want to experience rapid weight loss.  I would prefer to have gradual weight loss.  I’m definitely not gaining weight, and I think I’m losing a few pounds.

There’s a lot going on in my life right now, so I’m a little distracted, but I’m definitely staying on the program as a baseline.  In terms of doing videos and reading, however, I may not be doing them as often as I’d like.
